Last updated: May 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website (wai.transaction.science) operated by Transaction Science, Inc. ("Transaction Science," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website.

2. About WAI

WAI (Web AI Media Transport & Execution) is an open container + capability-dispatch standard for media. The specification text and the Rust reference implementation (wai-rs) are published under the Apache License 2.0; conformance test vectors and standard test corpora are published openly. Transaction Science stewards the specification and operates the optional hosted services around it; it does not own the protocol. This website is a marketing site describing WAI and Transaction Science's services.

3. Intellectual Property

Branding, logos, and the design of this website are the property of Transaction Science, Inc. The WAI specification text and the wai-rs reference implementation are published under the Apache License 2.0; conformance vectors and standard test corpora are published openly. License terms are stated in the relevant repositories and documents.

4. No Warranties

The specification, the reference implementation, and any services described here are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use any automated system to access this website beyond reasonable human usage
  • Misrepresent conformance status — claiming an implementation passes the WAI test vectors when it does not
  • Use the WAI name or marks in a way that implies endorsement, certification, or ownership where none exists
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of this website

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transaction Science, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website, the specification, or the reference implementation.
